How much notice do you require for my order?
You may place your order at any time,
Fruit cakes: minimum 3 to 4 months notice**
Sponge wedding cakes: minimum 6 weeks' notice**
Celebration cakes: ideally 2-4 weeks' notice**
**Please note that some dates during the wedding season can be very busy and to avoid dissapointment we suggest that you give us as much notice as possible.
How do I pay for my order?
Wedding cakes require a non refundable deposit on ordering, and the balance of your order paid in full no later than 14 days prior to the delivery date.
Celebration cakes require a non refundable deposit of £20 on ordering, the balance of your order in full upon collection/delivery.
Payment can be made by either cash or cheque.
Can you co-ordinate my cake with my wedding colour scheme?
Yes, as part of the design consultation we will discuss your preferred colours and aim to co-ordinate with your table settings, dresses, and overall scheme.
How and when is my cake delivered?
If you require us to deliver your cake we will liaise with the wedding co-ordinator at your venue regarding delivery and set up arrangements, leaving you to concentrate on enjoying your day.
Please note that collection is not available for Tiered wedding cakes, these require us to deliver and set up the cake personally.
What is included in the price?
Included in the price of your cake is - design consultation, Cake and pillars/ribbons/embellishments and sugar flowers.
Please note for delivery and set up, a nominal charge will apply and this will be discussed during the initial design consultation.
Can I change the design after placing my order?
In the unlikely event that you want to change the design of your cake after the order has been placed then this is only possible within a certain time period, after this period any changes you wish to make will result in additional charges.
